Experience:
Many may believe that studying English literature is only relevant to a career in education. Yet its value extends far beyond professional development – it can enrich your life and broaden your perspective. Whether your interests lie in languages, the arts, history, philosophy, religion, psychology, or even travel, a good knowledge of English literature can deepen your understanding and appreciation of these fields.
Though my career is in a different area, I am pleased to have undertaken this MA programme out of personal interest and dedicated focused time to the study of English literature. A key element of this programme is our knowledgeable and inspiring faculty. Their expertise and passion have greatly enhanced my learning experience, providing deeper insight and fostering a stimulating academic environment.
C. S. Lewis once wrote, "In reading great literature I become a thousand men and yet remain myself." Through reading, we can multiply our experience, gaining wisdom and revelations from lives we could never otherwise live. Don’t miss such a rewarding opportunity to explore the vast landscapes that English literature offers. It is a journey that will undoubtedly enlighten your mind and nourish your soul.
