Many may believe that studying English literature is only relevant to a career in education. Yet its value extends far beyond professional development – it can enrich your life and broaden your perspective. Though my career is in a different area, I am pleased to have undertaken this MA programme out of personal interest and dedicated focused time to the study of English literature. A key element of this programme is our knowledgeable and inspiring faculty. Their expertise and passion have greatly enhanced my learning experience, providing deeper insight and fostering a stimulating academic environment. C. S. Lewis once wrote, "In reading great literature I become a thousand men and yet remain myself."
