I find the MA in English (Literary Studies) program to be intuitive and engaging. It has helped me cultivate what I believed was not in me, like the ability to act onstage; and it has helped me stride a step further down the path of pursuing great English literature. Although short, the program has been highly fulfilling, but not too demanding as to take away one’s personal life. I think that if you choose this program, you will be in for a year of excitement, challenge, and joy. To those considering or about to begin this program: know that you have chosen a program that will help you uncover your own area of interest in literature. Be open-minded, and let literature “happen” to you: wise passiveness is a key to literary studies.
