I feel so blessed that I chose to start my English literature study at CUHK. I’ve met helpful, brilliant teachers here who provided courses that introduced me to literature and encouraged me to embark on an academic journey in the field. I was especially inspired by the wide range of topics, genres, and historical periods that the courses cover, through which I found the area that I was most interested in and had the strongest motivation to explore further. Moreover, I developed my academic writing skills, close reading abilities, and confidence in presentations, all benefiting from my teachers’ feedback. And here’s a personal highlight of CUHK – the campus is incredibly gorgeous. I will surely miss the walks by the lakes and my spot in the university library.
