It’s my great honour to complete my Master of Arts in Literary Studies in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The program offers a variety of courses ranging from eighteenth-century Romantic Gothic to contemporary Irish literature. In addition to offering nourishing courses in literary studies, the program also offers creative writing workshops where students are encouraged to experiment with more creative works and to navigate publishing channels in Hong Kong. The M.A. final project, moreover, equips students with necessary skills to conduct further research in literary studies. As my first degree in literature, this program also convinces me of my passion in literary criticism and inspires me to pursue further studies in literature. I am immensely indebted to my supportive professors and staff in the English faculty and also greatly benefit from the warmth and friendship of my fellow classmates.
