My research evaluates the accentedness, comprehensibility, and intelligibility of China English, focusing on illuminating the underlying interrelationships among these three constructs and testing the effects of linguistic measures, speakers’ linguistic backgrounds and listeners’ familiarity with the target language on the perception of the three constructs.
