Emily is a recent graduate of Williams College, where she earned a B.A. in biology (and, along the way, took classes in everything from sociology to Spanish to studio art). While at Williams, she studied abroad through the International Chinese Language Program in Taipei, Taiwan, and also spent a semester on ocean and coastal studies at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT. Her professional interests include science communication and education/outreach, with a particular focus on marine environmental issues. In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, attempting to draw, and visiting museums. She looks forward to teaching at CUHK and exploring Hong Kong in the year ahead.
